Is é “Dia agus Dúchas” an mana atá againn. Ar an dá bhunchloch sin, creideamh agus cultúr, atá fealsúnacht na scoile seo bunaithe. Glacann bainistíocht Ghaelscoil Míde go fonnmhar leis an dúshlán agus iarrann muid ar thuismitheoirí siúl céim ar chéim linn in oilithreacht oideachasúil Ghaelach seo ár gcuid leanaí. ​ It is my privilege, as Chairperson of the Board of Management, to address a few words to the parents of Gaelscoil Míde. Our motto is “Dia agus Dúchas – God and Heritage” and these are the two cornerstones on which the philosophy of our school is built. We are a Catholic school under the patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin. Although we are Europeans, and members of the European family of nations, we believe that we are first and foremost Irish people, with a rich and wonderful cultural legacy. Faithfulness to our birthright will not only improve our self-image but will earn us the respect of others. To support and nourish these two aspects of the life and work of Gaelscoil Míde is a challenge in today’s world, but it is a task we gladly accept. We ask our parents to join with us in promoting the educational and cultural adventure that we in Gaelscoil Míde provide. Nár laga Dia sibh! ​ ​ ​ ​
